Information You Provide

• Account Information: Username, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Profile Information: Display name, bio, and profile picture.
• User Content: Skateboarding posts, videos, photos, comments, and ratings you share.
• Battle Information: Your participation in skateboarding battles and related data.

Automatically Collected Information

• Location Data: Your precise location when you enable location services to:
  • View and create location-based skateboarding posts.
  • Discover nearby skate spots.
  • Share your location with other users (optional).
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers.
• Usage Data: App features you use, time spent in the app, interactions with content.
• Log Data: IP address, crash reports, and performance data.

Information from Third Parties

• Authentication Data: Information from authentication providers (Supabase Auth).
• Advertising Data: Anonymous advertising identifiers for ad delivery.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App.
• Enable you to discover and share skateboarding content.
• Show you location-based skate spots and posts.
• Facilitate battles and community features.
• Award points and manage the rewards system.

Location Services

Pushinn uses your location to display nearby skate spots on the map, allow you to create location-tagged posts, show you relevant local content, and enable optional location sharing with other users.

You can control location permissions through your device settings. Disabling location services will limit certain features but the App will remain functional.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Supabase (Database & Authentication)

We use Supabase to store user data, posts, and app content. Data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Supabase Privacy Policy.

Google Services

• Google Maps: For displaying maps and location data.
• Google AdMob: For serving advertisements.

Other Users

Your public profile information, posts, and location-tagged content are visible to other users. You can control what location information you share in the app settings.

We Do Not:

• Sell your personal information to third parties.
• Share your precise location without your explicit permission.
• Share your email address publicly.

Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers, device information, usage data, and location data (for location-based ads).

You can opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings:

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide you services, or as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Pushinn is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication via Supabase Auth, regular security updates and monitoring, and access controls and data protection policies. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we don't sell your data), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for processing your information includes your consent, performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, and compliance with a legal obligation.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new policy in the App, updating the "Last Updated" date, and sending a notification for material changes. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
